Mellow Motion: Cinematic Orchestra - Man With A Movie Camera Innovation was the tool of choice in the early days of cinema, and it’s with this quality that Dziga Vertov created his ground-breaking documentary movie The Man With A Movie Camera back in 1929. Almost 80 years later multi-instrumentalist Jason Swinscoe and his Cinematic Orchestra took upon the classic movie with the same innovative vigor with which it was originally created, composing a new score to the classic, layering the classic with atmospheric jazz compositions, repetitive chords and wonderful arrangements, capturing and reflecting the motion of every day life, its repetitions and sequences.
