Following models that she built, Amy Bennet started this series of paintings depicting suburban life. It’s the essence of suburban life, which is mirrored in such perfection in these works, that makes one wonder if they are really based on inanimate models or maybe on suburban inanimate life. Amy managed to relay here the feelings of alienation, inanimation and loneliness of suburban life. Amy has a solo exhibition in Stockholm’s Galleri Magnus Karlsson starting on August 30th for one month.
