Then I had to go, and leave quickly, and drive to see her
Then I got there late, and only had so little to listen to
Then I had a chance, to buy the CD from her and pay a few compliments
Then I wanted to write, but I had to go, again
This time for a much longer time, for a much further place
This time not to listen to music (maybe a different kind of music)
This time with her voice and sight in my mind, it’s a nice to go with
Now I am back, and have time to write, but now it’s all faded
Wait, now I will listen, and it will all burst again, the colors, the electronica, the voice
It’s wonderful how memories take shape once again once fed with music
