And at the beginning it was all landscape. And the instruments ruled the earth and the air was full of music. And all was an infinite landscape of music, stretched as far as the eye can see. And all were pleased, but god. And god looked around and wanted to make something new. And there was Glitch. And god loved Glitch. The sound of Glitch was beloved by god and pleased the lord and made him happy. And god wanted the world to be a happy and pleasing, and god wanted to share the beauty of Glitch. And god looked around onto the infinite landscapes and said: “Let there be a click”. And all halted, and a click came, a short click, and the clack of the silence followed, and all were happy and the instruments resumed their landscape. And god conducted another click, and the instruments were pleased and sang, and so on… god clicked and the instruments rejoiced. And the land was happy and lovely and I was happy.
Murcof was always a monumental artist. Every piece of music that he created during the last few years was a remarkable ground breaking achievement, and the now he shattered the spheres yet again. His new project was supposed to be a corporation with a philharmonic orchestra, but unfortunately this didn’t came to be (I can only hope that this kind of record will be created in the future). However, Murcof create a marvelous continuation to Martes, a beautiful piece both exciting and soothing.
Remembranza was released on Leaf (BAY47)on October 3rd and already reached number one on Posteverything’s sales chart.
